Yes. Your first lesson is free and there is no obligation to continue. We use it to understand your level and goals, and to make sure you are comfortable with your teacher.

An Ijazah is a licence to transmit the Quran, granted by a teacher who received it from their own teacher in an unbroken chain of transmission. It is awarded after reciting the Quran to the required standard.

Lessons are one-to-one and online, so you can study from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

That is exactly who our foundational courses are for. Many of our adult students begin without recognising a single Arabic letter. Because lessons are one-to-one, nobody else is in the room.

Yes. Our students are spread across many countries and our teachers schedule lessons well outside conventional office hours, including evenings and weekends.

Rates start at £8 per hour and fall to £6.50 per hour as your weekly hours increase. Family, subscription and new-Muslim discounts are available. See the fees page for the full structure.

Yes. Two children receive 5% off each, three or more receive 10% off each, and if a parent studies alongside their children every member of the household receives 15% off.

Yes. New Muslims receive 20% off all courses.

All our teachers are trained at Al-Azhar. Between them they hold an Ijazah in the Ten Qira’at, an Ijazah in Hafs, and postgraduate degrees in Arabic and Islamic studies.

Lessons for children are kept short, warm and interactive, with plenty of encouragement. Because teaching is one-to-one, the pace follows your child rather than a class.
