An Ijazah is a licence to transmit the Quran, granted by a teacher who themselves received it from their teacher, in an unbroken chain reaching back to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.
This programme prepares you to recite the entire Quran to your teacher to the standard required for certification. It is demanding, and it is the most significant qualification we offer.
Our teachers hold Ijazah in Hafs and in the Ten Qira’at, and certification is granted only when the standard is genuinely met.
